Presque Isle Library 3rd floor. Stay after to make our Indigenous Peoples' Day signs for Monday

Join us Sunday October 12th @ 1pm for Matt Dunlap

391 State St Presque Isle

Join us Monday October 13th @ 5pm for Indigenous Peoples' Day

We will be doing a human banner demonstration about Tribal Sovereignty across the bridge by the mall in Presque Isle

Save the dates:

Saturday September 18th @ 10am: No Kings! North Street Presque Isle

Sunday October 19th @ 10am: Raising Change Play Group Mantle Lake Park

Friday October 24th @ 5pm: AOC Book Club Discussion Presque Isle Library House

What do you want to know?

Get to know your Democratic candidates:

Are you curious about what your candidates stand for? Do you want to know their opinion about things that matter to you?

Send us your questions via Facebook, message or email to contact@aroostookorganizers.me

AOC will be sending the questions to the Democratic candidates and collecting their video responses to share

You can include questions for specific candidates or for every candidate of that office, just let us know when you send in your question(s)

Language on the November ballot:

QUESTION 1: “Do you want to change Maine election laws to eliminate two days of absentee voting, prohibit requests for absentee ballots by phone or family members, end ongoing absentee voter status for seniors and people with disabilities, ban prepaid postage on absentee ballot return envelopes, limit the number of drop boxes, require voters to show certain photo ID before voting, and make other changes to our elections?”

QUESTION 2: “Do you want to allow courts to temporarily prohibit a person from having dangerous weapons if law enforcement, family, or household members show that the person poses a significant danger of causing physical injury to themselves or others?”
