Join us Friday September 19th for a Candle Lit Vigil in Presque Isle honoring innocent lives lost to gun violence in schools this year

What do you want to know?!

Get to know your Democratic candidates:

Are you curious about what your candidates stand for? Do you want to know their opinion about things that matter to you?

Send us your questions via Facebook, message or email to contact@aroostookorganizers.me

AOC will be sending the questions to the Democratic candidates and collecting their video responses to share

You can include questions for specific candidates or for every candidate of that office, just let us know when you send in your question(s)

Opportunity to be heard

Aroostook County Democratic Committee Meeting:

We know many are disillusioned with the parties and the system;

We are hoping this can be an opportunity for us to hear some positive progress the party is making BUT also be a chance for us to provide feedback and ask for what we need. The topics planned sound like promising training content. Please join us Saturday the 20th at 11am at the PI Library. We can push the party forward to work for us!

Save the dates:

Friday September 26th @ 5pm The PI Library House 228 State St: AOC Book Club Discussion:

First book is All the Colors of the Dark (content warning for themes around abuse, kidnapping). You don’t have to have read it to show up. Come socialize, build community, bring snacks, enjoy the Library House, and help pick the next book!

Friday September 26th @ 6pm: Behind the Barriers: An Evening of Action & Learning for Homeless Youth

Saturday September 27th @ 8am: Fall Community Cleanup!

Saturday October 4th: Graham Platner Town Halls:

10am Houlton

1pm Caribou

430pm Madawaska
